FOLDING 'SUITCASE STYLE' ACCESS RAMPS

Our ramps are a cost effective, long term solution to help with the requirements
as laid down by the Disability Discrimination Act Part III and in particular, the
sections relevant to entering a premises and the partially sighted. High Visibility
contrasting colouration and a slip resistant surface make these ramps fully compliant
and practical in a retail environment.

GRADIENT INFORMATION

A 1-12 gradient is recommended for unassisted access with a 1-6 gradient being acceptable for assisted access.

To work out your gradient use the following simple method:
Step height measurement x 12 will give you the required length of ramp for a 1-12
gradient.

Step height measurement x 6 will give you the required length of ramp for a 1-6 gradient

When ramp is fitted into position, check clear space from bottom edge of ramp to kerb
or obstacle. This space should be at least 1000mm (39 ½ inches).
